If you've been to First Glimpse since March of 2015 you realize there have been some drastic upgrades and updates done to the facility. When my husband and I purchased the facility I had big dreams for it. I wanted to update and modernize it. I wanted to make it feel like home away from home. I wanted to bring my vision to life in a way that I hoped appealed to most everyone who came through. This past year the response has been amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who has come through our facility. We have received nothing but positive feedback from our updates and changes. I've spent a lot of nights awake dreaming of what I wanted to do to continue the positive change and growth of our beautiful facility. I have ants in the pants syndrome (or AIPS as I call it for my toddler), I just want to continually make it bigger and better.

With these big dreams come big projects; my poor husband. It's a good thing he loves me a whole whole lot because he may have left me by now if not.  LOL! I'm always asking him to build me a new piece of display furniture. Our garage hasn't transformed back into a two car garage since we bought First Glimpse. Again, he loves me a whole lot.

With the start of the New Year I decided to expand an idea a friend had started for me. I wanted to be able to offer speciality baby items. From the ever priceless Heartbeat Animals to themed onesies and baby shower ideas and gifts. I want to be able to be a one stop shop. Who doesn't want to find out the gender of their baby, walk a few feet back to the front and pick out the perfect exciting item to announce it with?! Our confetti cannons and confetti push pops are flying off the shelves and we are so happy about this! Finding out the gender of your baby is a wonderful, exciting and life changing event that we want to help everyone enjoy that much more. Friends? Family? Bring them with you! Don't want to know today?! We will seal it in a special envelope and can even wrap up the secret cannon of your baby's gender to find out later. We do it all! Or I do should I say I do it all.

While I want to be a one stop shop I also want to run everything. It's the overachiever in me. People may think it's crazy that I don't have much help right now but I like it that way. I want to be a part of the check in, the scan and the shopping side of it all. I think it's part of a small business. I want it to feel like a fun and personal time. It's once in a lifetime to have a sweet baby!

I am loving all of the new items I am getting in weekly. We now have loveys and bibs, banners and bows, onesies and bears and so much more. Please stop by any day we're open from 10-6 and come shop!
